As a local business owner in Castle Rock, I know how critical it is to have leaders who listen to our challenges, AND actually do the hard work to fix them. That is exactly why I am endorsing Laura Cavey for Mayor.
Copperfalls Spa and Salon has been downtown for over 26 years and with the expansion of downtown parking has always been a major hurdle for my business and our Guests. Over the years, I have brought these concerns to Laura, and her response has been nothing short of exceptional. Laura worked tirelessly to implement new parking requirements across Castle Rock—including right here Downtown—ensuring that future developments must mitigate their own parking impacts rather than crowding out existing small businesses.
But the advocacy didn’t stop there. When I shared that our guests frequently face two-hour parking limits during their spa days and the cost of paying the fines, Laura immediately stepped up to find solutions. Right now, she is actively working to extend parking hours around our establishment so our guests can enjoy Copperfalls AND downtown Castle Rock without the fear of getting a ticket.
