A yard sign needs somewhere to stand, so we always ask for an address when one is on the order. Paid items are campaign contributions, which we’re required to report with your name and address.

No payment is taken here. If anything is owed, it’s a campaign contribution to Cavey for Mayor — the next screen shows where to send it by Venmo or check.

Money paid to a candidate committee for campaign merchandise is a contribution under Colorado campaign finance law, not a retail purchase. Contributions are reported to the Town of Castle Rock with the contributor’s name and address, as the Town’s campaign finance reporting rules require. Contributions must be made from your own funds and are not tax-deductible. Yard signs are provided free of charge by the campaign.
